Veritas MFG. Slotted #6 Shader Coil Tattoo Machine
About this item
The Veritas MFG. Slotted #6 Shader is a handmade coil tattoo machine built for artists who want a smooth, slappy hit with plenty of working range. Whether you're whipping in black or packing solid color, this machine is designed to stay responsive and versatile while running comfortably on the lower end of the voltage range.
Built by Greg DiGiacinto of Veritas MFG. in Mays Landing, New Jersey, the Slotted #6 Shader is made using traditional tattoo machine-building methods. Major components—including the coil deck and tube vise, spring deck, upright, shelf brace, armature bar, springs, coil cores, and front and rear binding posts—are manually machined using a mill and lathe.
Each component is individually cut, drilled, milled, turned, and finished by hand before the machine is carefully assembled and tuned. The result is a true handmade American coil shader built for professional tattoo artists who appreciate traditional construction, adjustability, and the unmistakable feel of a properly tuned coil machine.
