The Armature Bar – Shader is built for coil tattoo machines tuned for shading and color packing. In a coil machine, the armature bar is the moving component that gets pulled down by the electromagnetic coils and snapped back by the springs, driving the needle bar up and down. The weight and length of the armature bar help determine how the machine cycles and how hard it hits.
These shader bars are made from 1000 pure iron, providing strong magnetic response and durability for coil machine setups. Each bar measures 3/8″ wide and comes in multiple overall length options so builders can dial in machine performance depending on their setup. Available finishes include black oxide, nickel plated, and raw steel, and each piece is made in the USA by Lucky Supply MFG.
