Build a Piece of Tattoo History at the New Mexico Tattoo Fiesta

Lucky Supply is bringing a one-of-a-kind Tattoo Machine Building Seminar to the New Mexico Tattoo Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This hands-on seminar gives attendees the opportunity to build their own genuine Rollomatic Liner or Sailor Jerry Bulldog Shader tattoo machine while learning the fundamentals of traditional coil machine construction.

What makes this seminar special? Lucky Supply is the trademark holder of both the Rollomatic and Sailor Jerry Bulldog frame styles, preserving two of the most recognizable machine designs in tattoo history.

This seminar is designed to help preserve the traditional knowledge of coil tattoo machine building by sharing techniques, principles, and craftsmanship that have been passed down through generations of tattooers and machine builders.

Throughout the seminar, participants will learn not only how to assemble a machine, but why these machines work the way they do and how proper setup affects their performance. Lunch will be provided.

Attendees Will:

  • Build their choice of a genuine Rollomatic Liner or Sailor Jerry Bulldog Shader
  • Learn the history and evolution of tattoo machines
  • Learn how to wind and gain a further understanding of tattoo machine coils
  • Learn proper spring alignment and tuning techniques
  • Explore machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Gain a deeper understanding of how machine setup affects tattooing performance

Whether you're new to coil machines or a seasoned tattooer looking to better understand the tools of the trade, this seminar offers valuable hands-on experience that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

As more of the industry moves toward disposable and pre-assembled equipment, opportunities to learn the fundamentals of machine building and tuning have become increasingly rare.

By the end of the seminar, attendees will leave with a machine they built themselves, a stronger understanding of coil machine mechanics, and practical knowledge they can apply to maintaining and tuning their own equipment.
